Deutsche Soldatengräber auf dem Ausländerfriedhof Negishi, Yokohama (Negishi Gaijin Bochi* 根岸外人墓地 )
______________________________________________
* "The Negishi Gaijin Bochi was established in 1880 but was not put to use until 1902. Although there are 1,122 people interred in the cemetery, there are only 249 headstones; 900 were infants whose parents were American men of the U.S. armed forces, and Japanese women, from post-WWII. This cemetery is not open to public and, until recently, it was not adequately maintained. The City of Yokohama is reluctant to release the names those buried in the cemetery, perhaps due to the high number of the infants buried there."
